Cornerstone Classic 2016

The Ocala Cornerstone Classic (Nov 21) presented by the Cornerstone School Robotics program, in conjunction with Vanguard High School Robotics, hosted the very first FLL Practice Tournament in Marion County.   Over 150 students, parents, alumni, team members, officials, judges, and visitors came together to experience a robotics event that is sure to grow over the next several years.

The FLL program hosts a variety of competitions and events with autonomous robots (not romote-controlled) that encourages students to have fun while learning principles of STEM education. Students design, construct, and program the robots.  Adult coaches are not allowed to assist during the events.

New Stem Activity!

In the past Robopalooza offered a STEM Activity with the Lego WeDo KITS for younger robot enthusiast.   This year we will be offering a new STEM Activity which will use Edison Robots.   The fee to participate in the Snap Circuits STEM Activity is $10 per person.  Space is limited and you’ll needed to register your child ASAP.  You can register by clicking on the “Register Here” link on the STEM Activity page of the webpage.

If you are a registered Jr. FLL Team participating in the Jr. FLL Expo at Robopalooza, you are provided with 6 free Stem Activity spaces per team.  Additional team members must pay the $10 fee per student.
