welcome Back Cougars!
Since 1982, The Cornerstone School has been building a community of students, families, faculty, and staff dedicated to quality in education and to creating an environment of mutual respect, acceptance, and integrity. The Cornerstone School began with a group of parents and an idea. Over thirty-five years later and with more than 700 alumni and alumni families, Cornerstone has become an integral part of the Ocala community.
As a Cornerstone alumnus, you know it's more than just a school. We're a family. From playing four-square and riding on the bike path to the “love shack”, critter cottage, and hours making chili for the Chili Cook-off, we've shared so many wonderful times together. Our experience at Cornerstone helped build the foundation for who we are as individuals. We are passionate. We are leaders. We are life-long learners. We are Cornerstone.
Emily Belcher, ‘12, graduated from college and began her career as a teacher during a global pandemic. We talked with her last month to find out how she is adapting both in and out of the classroom.
Keep us in the loop on where you are and what you have been doing since your days at Cornerstone.
Each Spring, Cornerstone Alumni are invited to an evening of food and fun as we honor the class that is about to graduate from high school. It gives our Alumni community a chance to reconnect with former classmates, faculty, and staff. We are very excited to announce that are once again able to meet in person for our Alumni Night celebration, coming this May. If you are an alumnus and would like to attend or would like to sponsor the evening, please contact Brooke Schultheis at email@example.com for more information.
Congratulations to this year's alumni - The Cornerstone Class of 217!
