Junior Camp

Junior Camp

Junior Camp at Cornerstone offers 6, week-long day camps designed to meet the needs of our youngest campers. Campers entering Pre-K (3 years old) - entering Kindergarten learn and play in a safe, secure environment full of discovery, fun, and friendship. Camp days are from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Camp Cornerstone

Camp Cornerstone

Camp Cornerstone offers 6, week-long day camps to keep campers engaged through the warm summer months. Campers will create, collaborate, and problem-solve during weekly themed activities, science experiments, and design challenges. Camp days are from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

STEM/Coding Camps

STEM/Coding Camps

STEM/Coding Camps are offered for students entering 5th - 9th Grade. Each week-long camp focuses on a specific activity designed to challenge campers and put their problem-solving and creativity to the test. Weekly themes are STEM-based and move at a rapid pace. Camp days are from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Scratch Camp (6/3 - 6/7): Designed for beginner to intermediate Scratch users, campers will design games and build an app. 
  • Robotics and Drones (6/10 - 6/14): Learn to code VEX IQ, Root Robots, and programmable drones to complete choreographed maneuvers.
  • Barbenheimer (6/17 - 6/21): Different design challenges, including building a Rube Goldberg machine, offer an opportunity to design, build and play, and find solutions to engineering problems with the fun physics and more!
  • The Art of Microbiology (6/24 - 6/28): Design challenges offer campers an opportunity to design, build and play while exploring aseptic technique, streak plating, and gram staining as we create mini masterpieces using bacteria.
  • Programming Essentials (7/8 - 7/18): This camp is perfect for students who have been writing code for at least 9 months. Prior Python experience is not necessary but is recommended.  This camp will explore AI and Machine Learning through coding with Python. This is an eight day camp, running Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. 
Dance Camps

Dance Camps

Dance Camps will run weekly in June and include different types of dance for dancers entering K - 8th grade. Camp days are from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Dance Around the World (6/3 - 6/7): Explore different dance styles from around the world, including Indian Bollywood, African Sinte, Japanese Shibu, and French Ballet.
  • Celebrate the Eras (6/10 - 6/14 and 6/17-6/21): Embark on a fun and exciting journey with dance numbers inspired by music from Taylor Swift.
  • SYTYCD (6/24 - 6/28): Celebrate the famous dance show "So You Think You Can Dance." Students will form groups, choose a dance genre, and choreograph their pieces with guidance from the dance teacher. 
  • Performance Camp (7/5 - 7/19): Dive into a 10-day intensive practice for an amazing production inspired by "The Greatest Showman." The last Friday includes a tech rehearsal. Final performance on Saturday, July 20.
Art Camp

Art Camp

Art Camp offers campers entering 5th Grade – entering 10th Grade an opportunity to have fun and express their creativity while gaining a deeper appreciation for different artistic mediums. Campers in this year’s Art Camp will get to create props and scene art with our adjunct Art Teacher, Ms. Vanessa Fuller-Brown of the Appleton Museum. These props will be showcased in conjunction with our Performance Dance Camp's presentation at a local auditorium.  In addition, campers will get to create a statue and other fun projects. Get ready to paint and explore your imagination at Art camp this summer! Art Camp will be held 7/8 - 7/19 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

High Adventure Camp

High Adventure Camp

High Adventure Camp invites campers to explore the amazing American wilderness. Campers will travel to different locations for overnight camping experiences and will learn about local ecosystems, hike down trails, swim, canoe, and much more.

  • F.D. Roosevelt State Park, GA (6/24 - 6/28)
  • Black Rock Mountain, GA (7/22 - 7/26)
  • St. George Island, FL (7/29 - 8/2)
Drama Camp

Drama Camp

Two drama camps offer our future stars the opportunity to shine! Little Theatre Drama Camp (Grades K - 3rd, half-day only) and Drama Camp (Grades 4th - 6th) our future stars will work on the basics of theatre including singing, acting, and movement. Little Theatre campers will use a variety of games in class to explore their imagination and to practice their newly honed skills. Drama Camp's theme will coincide with our Performance Dance Camp, but will focus on the performance aspect of "The Greatest Showman". Half-day camps are 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Full-day camps are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Academic Programs

Academic Programs

Looking for an intensive support program for your child? Cornerstone Summer Camps are offering two, 4-week programs in Reading and Math.

  • Intensive Reading Program (6/3 - 6/28, half-day only): This 4-week intensive reading program will be taught by Cornerstone teachers utilizing Orton-Gillingham methodology and runs Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 12:15 pm for students entering 1st Grade - entering 3rd Grade.   • Intensive Math Program (7/1 - 7/26, half-day only): This 4-week intensive math program will be taught by Cornerstone teachers utilizing the Cambridge International Math program, and runs Monday - Friday, 8:30 am- 12:15 pm for students entering 1st Grade - entering 5th Grade.
